    Frequently Asked

    Sub or journeyman — what's the difference?+

Subcontractors run independent: you carry your own master electrician license, $1M general liability, and workers' comp; you pull your own permits and handle your own callbacks. Subs start at 80/20 and can negotiate up to 85/15 after a steady, callback-free track record. Journeymen work under our master license, our insurance, and our permits — we back every callback. Journeymen are paid 70/30.

    How do I get paid?+

We handle all customer billing. Your share is deposited directly to your bank account weekly — Friday direct deposit.

    What if the customer cancels?+

If a customer cancels before work begins, you owe nothing. We absorb the acquisition cost so you never lose money on a no-show.

Do I need my own insurance?+

To run as a subcontractor, yes — your own master electrician license, $1M general liability, and workers' comp. If you don't have those, you can run as a journeyman under our license and insurance at 70/30.

    What areas do you cover?+

Baltimore and the entire DMV — Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel, Howard, surrounding Maryland counties, D.C., and Northern Virginia.
